Terms of use

The rules for using the Bill Organizer app, in plain language.

Last updated: 17 September 2026

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Bill Organizer (“we”, “us”) for the Bill Organizer app (“the app”). By using the app, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You must be at least 13, or the age of digital consent where you live. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree for you.

What the app does not do

  • It does not pay bills, move money or connect to your bank.
  • It is not a bank, payment service or lender, and it does not give financial, tax or legal advice.
  • Reminders depend on your device’s settings, so we cannot guarantee they arrive. You remain responsible for paying your bills on time, and we are not liable for late fees or penalties.

Using the app

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not:

  • use it for anything unlawful or harmful;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows;
  • interfere with our servers or try to get around usage limits;
  • upload content you do not have the right to share.

Accounts

An account is optional and is used to back up your bills. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time; see our delete your account page.

Pro subscription

  • The app is free with some limits. Bill Organizer Pro removes them. What Pro includes and its price are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trials: unless you cancel at least 24 hours before a free trial ends, the paid subscription starts. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Cancel in the app (Settings → Pro → Manage subscription) or in your App Store or Google Play account settings. You keep Pro until the paid period ends. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. To restore a purchase on a new device, tap Restore on the Bill Organizer Pro screen.

AI features

Bill scanning and Ask AI use OpenAI, as explained in our privacy policy. AI can be wrong, so always check results against your bills. Answers are not financial, tax or legal advice. Only scan bills you are entitled to use. If an AI answer is offensive, harmful or wrong, please report it to [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We may limit, change or stop AI features.

Your content

You own the bills, notes, photos and questions you add. You let us store, process and send them only as needed for the features you use, such as scanning, Ask AI and backups. You are responsible for your content, and we may remove content or suspend access if it breaks these terms or the law.

Our app and liability

The app and its design belong to us or our licensors. Services we rely on, such as Apple, Google and OpenAI, have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You must follow any third-party terms that apply to you, such as your mobile data agreement.

The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid for the app in the last 12 months or USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

App store terms

Apple App Store. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

Google Play. If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply, and Google is not responsible for the app or its support.

Changes, ending use and contact

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel any subscription. We may suspend access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the app. If we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use the app means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where you live, and your local consumer protections still apply. Questions: [SUPPORT EMAIL].
